Mr. Veverka mentioned that the County will send Tax Levy Edit to the District.

Mr. Szyska updated the Board on District operations.  The District is still in a moderate drought and the culex numbers are increasing but at a slower rate than usual.

Mr. Szyska reported that the chimney at the Elk Grove shop was hit by lighting.  He is getting quotes for the insurance company.

Mr. Szyska reported one human case of WNV in IL (Dupage Co) and 29 batches of mosquitoes testing positive. No WNV has been found within the District yet.

The Board received copies of the draft audit and information on the new SAS 112.  After discussion the Board decided to write a letter to the Accountants regarding the new standard.

Mr. Szyska mentioned that the Wheeling shop gasoline tank must have a 10 year inspection and he is getting bids for the process.

Mr. Szyska mentioned that the Wheeling Fire Department inspected the facility and found some violations.  Most have already been fixed but 1 or 2 are more expensive such as a monitored sprinkler system.

There being no further business to come before the Board a motion was made to adjourn and it passed unanimously.
