MINUTES
OF THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
November
15, 2006
The
regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Northwest Mosquito Abatement
District was held Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at 7:30 pm.
There
being a presence of a quorum, Arnold D. Kincaid, President called the meeting
to order.

absent: William Schneck, Treasurer.
Also
present: Michael Haugh, Attorney;
Michael Szyska, Director.
The
minutes of the October 2006 meeting were read.
Daniel R. Ansani made a motion to accept the minutes as read and Karen V.
Mills seconded the motion.
The
Secretary called the roll and all ayes had been cast for approval of the motion
and thereby declared the motion carried.
The
Treasurer's Report for October 2006 was presented and all checks were approved
for payment. Daniel R. Ansani made a
motion to accept the report as read and Richard A. David seconded the motion.

Mr.
Haugh mentioned that the Trustee budget committee needs to be appointed at the
December meeting. Soon the County will
be sending the information for property tax exemptions and the Ethics Statement
lists.
Mr.
Szyska gave an update on District operations.
There was a monthly staff safety meeting recently. Mr. Szyska is getting health insurance
quotes. The District has purchased a new
server to be dedicated to a new GIS system and the data base system. Mr. Szyska also mentioned that Caitlin
Shaunnessey has completed her Entomologist probation period.
Mr.
Szyska mentioned that the State has reported 211 WNV cases to date.
There
being no further business to come before the Board a motion was made to adjourn
and it passed unanimously.
